Packaging equipment
By type of packaging
Doypack
Today this is the type of a pouch which can express the
individuality of your product. Only this type of packaging
is completely unlimited in terms of feasibility of shapes
& types of a product being packaged.
The very first machines designed for the above type of packaging
had been produced by the company in the 30s of the 20 century,
and you will be surprised but the machines manufactured in
the 30-40s are still operative at the Russian production facilities.
A doypack is a pouch provided with a folded bottom. Its literal
English name is a stand up pouch.
It is manufactured by two methods:
1. A horizontal plane method. This process is employed in
special thermal sealing machines which are used in printing
companies. This is a rapid production process capable of yielding
up to 700 pouches per minute. In this case a pouch is formed
of three webs – two side webs & one bottom.
These pouches are further delivered to the consumer where
they are used in packaging machines manipulating with a pre-made
pouch.
2. A horizontal - vertical method.
This process is suitable for horizontal packaging machines
which form, open up, fill & seal a top seam.
The engineering idea of the Laudenberg company has not come
to a standstill and the machinery improvement proceeds alongside
with improvement of the pouch appearance.
Laudenberg will devise a pouch for you which you won’t be
able to decline.
