Since 1970 Rottler develops, designs and manufactures special machine tools based on application and work piece for various industry sectors worldwide:

 aviation and astronautics;
 shipbuilding;
 motor-car industry;
 machining of power plant components;
 paper machine industry;
 production of rolls;
 railway industry;
 machining of forged pieces;
 aluminium machining and machining of graphite pieces;
 mobile machining on sites.

Rottler offers machines designed and built according to various customers´ requirements:

 Turning machines;
 Milling- and boring machines;
 Drilling machines;
 Grinding machines.

1970 Rottler Werkzeugmaschinen was founded by Horst Rottler in Siegen-Gosenbach.

1985 The subsidiary A.M.A. Anlagen Maschinenbau Automation GmbH was founded with its registered office in Mudersbach-Birken.

1989 Ralph Rottler joined the company in second generation.

1990 ROTTLER Chemnitz GmbH founded in Chemnitz.

2001 Another assembly hall of 1,200 sq. m with a 30 t crane and a 10 t crane was bought.

In accordance with the growing tasks the number of staff was increased continuously.

Presently the Rottler group has about 50 employees in the divisions: construction, electrical engineering and assembly. Furthermore there are seven apprentices in the sectors design "dual studies", electronics engineer for energy plants and machine fitter. For manufacturing and assembly two buildings with a total floor space of 3,700 sq. meters are available.
