CHOCOTECH Wernigerode GmbH (Germany) incorporated into SOLLICH-Gruppe – a leading supplier of both stand-alone machines & process lines for the confectionary sector, was founded in 1920 by Mr. Otto Lauenstein in Wernigerode under the name of "Lauenstein & Co. KG".

CHOCOTECH has recently constructed a new production-administrative building in Wernigerode with the area of 7500m² meeting the latest standards. In 2001 the building was extended with an additional section having the area of 600 m² which now houses a lab, unique for the confectionary industry, where customers may perform commercial-scale tests of new recipes.

CHOCOTECH knowledge & experience are based on a long-tern skill in handling such products as hard & soft caramel, chewing caramel, jelly, fondant, various types of milk caramel, nougat, products made of whipped masses.
