Multiple package
General information
Paper, cardboard & corrugated board claim to be the most
popular packaging materials suitable for a multiple package
in the confectionary industry.
Engineering & manufacture of a package produce a decisive
effect on further service life of a package defining the packaged
product fate at all stages of the service life cycle.
The stage of a product packaging includes the following operations:
preparation of a container for packaging, its positioning
in the packaging area, a product dosing, transportation of
a product dose into a container, a container sealing. More
often the above basic operations & a great number of auxiliary
operations are automatically performed using packaging &
weighing machines. The working capacity, efficiency of packaging
& weighing machines are defined by the quality of the
machine manufacture & servicing and depend on the package
design, precision of its shapes & geometrical dimensions
which are determined depending on the consumer package design
& the type of a product being packed.
Transportation of products from a manufacturer to a customer
is a proof of all the above work where a significant constituent
is presented by the stage of the product packing into a multiple
package. This way the packed production goes through the stages
of transportation, warehousing, distribution within the sales
network, marketing & consumption by a buyer.
Demanding requirements are raised to the marking of a transport
package & a freight item. Marking must provide for the
automatic identification of a packed product.
The expansion of the amount & dimensions of modern supermarkets
has produced an effect on requirements applicable to packaging
in a food sector. Bare necessity for the display of a large
variety of a commodity bundle in a nicely arranged shopwindows
& shelves in order to attract the customer attention significantly
enhances the role of a package in marketing of products. At
present busy supermarkets require the so called "ready
for sale package" which ensures a fast replenishment
of goods on shelves due to continuous sales of products &
affords complementary opportunities for advertisement. Therefore,
in order to eliminate the effect of manual labor and to reduce
a package prime cost it is advisable to employ the automated
process.
The stage of consumption is a final target for which a packed
product is made. This is just the case why satisfaction of
the customer demands acquires the paramount importance at
the stage of a package designing & a product packing.
If a package is not convenient for opening up, if it is difficult
to extract product out of it, if measures for a product dosing,
if required, are not provided, If a packed product is not
convenient for storing as well as in case of many other occasions
which caused a customer dissatisfaction with a package - this
product will not be purchased again.
Thus, a package assumes the individuality of a product and
therefore other requirements inherent to a product & to
the process of goods logistics itself are applicable to the
package.
