Kaak Multi Deck

The Multi-Deck Freezer consist of a number of wide conveyors above eachother. The belt type is Kaak Multiway which has a perfect open stucture to enhance freezing capacities.

Generally the width of the system is determined by the oven and cooler width, that are positioned right in front of this freezer. The number of tiers and the length of each tier is determined by the line capacity (number of products per hour) and the freezing time.

In front of the Multi-Deck Freezer, cooled bread is transferred into the freezer by means of a Loader Lift. The pattern with which the bread has been baked and cooled will be maintained inside the freezer.

Behind the Multi-deck Freezer, the unloading lift will bring the frozen bread to packaging department level. The freezer is fully enclosed with an insulated housing and provided with all required freezing equipment.

Kaak Multi Spiral

The main elements of the Multi-Spiral Freezer are a rotating steel drum with a steel mesh belt „wrapped" around like a screw. By rotating the drum, the belt is driven through the friction between drum and belt.

The belt is carrying the products. The total belt length is determined by the line capacity (products per hour) and the freezing time.

The spiral system can be designed as a single column or a double column construction.

The freezer is fully enclosed with an insulated housing and provided with all required freezing equipment.

Kaak Multi Step

When product freezing can be done on the baking trays, the Multi-Step Freezer is an excellent solution. Different pan types can be used as long as their lengths are equal. The pans are fed into the freezer by means of an indexing chain and do not touch eachother. When a row is complete it is lifted up with an L-shape carrier. This process will repeat until the first product has reached the top level. Now the pans are moved over to the down-going part of the freezer. There they will be moved down stepwise and leave the freezer system again.

Different construction versions are „In-line" and „U-shape".

The freezer is fully enclosed with an insultated housing and provided with necessary freezer equipment.
