Kaak Multi Spiral

The main elements of the Multi-Spiral Cooler are a rotating steel drum with a plastic transporting belt „wrapped" around like a screw. By rotating the drum, the belt is driven through the friction between drum and belt.

The cooling belt is carrying the baked bread. The total belt length is determined by the line capacity (pans per hour), pan sizes and the cooling time.

The spiral system can be designed as a single column or a double column construction.

The cooling spiral(s) can be fully enclosed with an insulated housing and provided with climate control but can also be in an ambient environment.

Kaak Multi Deck

The Multi-Deck Cooler consist of a number of wide bread cooling conveyors above eachother. The belt type is Kaak Multiway which has a perfect open stucture to enhance cooling capacities.

Generally the width of the system is determined by the oven width, that is positioned right in front of this cooler. The number of tiers and the length of each tier is determined by the line capacity (number of products per hour) and the cooling time.

In front of the Multi-Deck Cooler, baked bread is transferred from the oven into the cooler by 
means of the Oven Unloader Lift. The pattern with which the bread has been baked will be maintained inside the cooler.

Behind the Multi-deck Cooler, the unloading lift will bring the cooled bread to packaging department level.

The cooler can be fully enclosed with an insulated housing and provided with climate control, but could also funtion in an ambient environment.

Kaak Multi Rack 

The automatic Multi-Rack Cooling consists of an insulated housing with automatic sliding entry door and exit door. Inside the cooling an overhead crane system (rack manipulator) is installed that is able to take racks with baked product and bring them to an empty floor position. When the cooling time has elapsed, the manipulator will take the rack and bring it to the exit door.

The computer system controls all rack positions and cooling times. A computer screen gives full information about the status of each rack.

Kaak Multi Channel

The Multi-Channel Cooler consist of a number of straight bread cooling conveyors above and beside eachother. The belt type is Kaak Multiway which has a perfect open stucture to enhance cooling capacities.

By means of a telescopic infeed conveyor on the infeed side each of the channels can be filled. A similar telescopic outfeed conveyor will empty the channels after the elapsed cooling time. Since filling and emptying the Multi-Channel System is totally independent, it can be used as a buffer.
